  2. Maurie’s Table: Maurie’s Table in Joliet has been serving up pizzas for more than 35 years. This family-friendly restaurant has a complete wall of arcade games and wooden tables and booths for you to carve your name or a special message. And while all the pizza choices are good, the deep dish pizzas put Maurie’s on the map and keep customers returning.
  3.   Beggars Pizza has several locations across Chicagoland, including Plainfield. Known for its generous amount of toppings and cheese, Beggars is also celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Visit the restaurant's website for the complete menu and a list of monthly specials at www.beggarspizza.com.
  4.  Cemeno’s Pizza: Cemeno’s Pizza in Joliet has been family owned and operated since 1976. Cemeno’s has a complete menu of pizza, pasta and sandwiches. Their homemade pizza sauce makes their pizzas standout, giving them a sweeter taste than the rest. When you order, ask for “extra crispy,” the pizza will bake just a few minutes longer and have the perfect crunch.
  5. Palermo’s on 95th in Oak Lawn has a variety of award-winning pizzas to select from, in addition to other outstanding Italian dishes. Palermo’s has thin, deep and stuffed pizzas and makes their own sausage for the toppings. All pizzas are baked to order and Palermo’s recently began offering gluten free crusts. Partially baked pizzas are also available for carryout. For more information, visit www.palermos95th.com.
