Police Blotter: More Than $3,000 in Landscaping Equipment Reported Stolen

Also, police report $2,000 worth of cosmetics swiped in retail theft incident on South Weber Road.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Nov. 19: Lawrence L. Johnson, 21, 212 Tacoma, Romeoville, was booked by Will County Sheriff’s police on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving/never issued license and head/tail/sidelight infractions. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Nov. 6: A delayed retail theft report was taken from the 0-100 block of South Weber Road. An unknown person entered the business and took several items from the cosmetics aisle of the business. Estimated cost of the items taken is $2,000. Time: 3:34 p.m.

Nov. 7: Two locations in the 1200 block of Naperville Drive reported theft of vehicle parts. Two catalytic converters were taken from two vehicles that were parked in the businesses’ lots. Estimated cost to replace the two catalytic converters is $1,000. Time: 9:49 a.m. and 12:17 p.m.

Nov. 7: A burglary was reported in the 17000 block of West Bluff Road. Eight pieces of various landscaping equipment were taken from a trailer that was parked at the business. Estimated cost to replace the items is $3,200. Time: 1:50 p.m.
