Incoming Lukancic Middle School sixth graders and their parents are invited to “Sparks University” from5:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12.
The event is designed to help 6th graders and their families orient themselves to middle school. It will include small group sessions with such topics as staying on top of academics, Edline, Odyssey and getting homework completed.
A Q&A session with veteran middle schoolers will take place. Students will also be given time to practice using their lockers.

Dinner will be provide from 5:30 to 6 with the program following.
Childcare will be provided by Lukancic National Junior Honor Society members.
