On the article Woodinville Mayor and City Councilmember Kick Off Reelection Campaigns

ReplyI personally am unsatisfied with the performance of both candidates up for re-election. The list of "accomplishments" is fairly small. I'd like to see a list of issues they want to solve in a fiscal year with quarterly updates on progress. City Council meetings are a joke and basically fodder for laughs on Patch and the Woodinville Weekly. I want to see some real plans for the future of Woodinville and how we are going to get there. Not a bunch of half assed city countil meetings that accomplish nothing, but getting people mad at each other and making progress hard to come by.
Let this serve as a warning to both candidates. Folks in this town are tired of the BS and lack of progress. You want to be re-elected? Show me some goals and a plan on how to get there.

ReplyI heard through the grapevine they got an influx of money from another local brewery over by Costco and that it's kind of like a joint brewing deal and it's mostly the other brewery that is using this equipment.

ReplyI've heard from a few sources that the remodel doesn't increase seating and may actually decrease it? Given how packed that place almost always is, I'm curious why they aren't taking the opportunity to make more seating available.

Just did it myself, Lisa. I had been putting it off over the last year. Glad I did too, should help me manage my new 401K as well.

Thanks for the additional info Karen! I told the guys at Triplehorn to get over there sometime to see if they could find the restaurant owner about getting one their taps in there. Breakfast would be pretty cool, we don't really have many breakfast places around town.
I'm definitely a Green Lantern guy (I even have the logo tattooed on my left arm). My boy Jack (that pick was from when he was 2 I think) is more of a Batman kid (he's 3 now). We took him to ECCC on Sunday and he had a great time dressed as Batman until a Joker scared him.

ReplyI for one am excited for this. I live in the Cottage Lake area and there only two places deliver to us. Since this is on my wife's way home I'm looking forward to her bringing some home when they open. And if this is like the Bellevue one where they had microbrews I'm definitely in!

Oh man, I cannot wait! Love that they are doing their own gooey cheese. Kenji Alt Lopez from A Hamburger Today on Serious Eats has a great recipe on how to turn any cheese meltable like American.
