ReplyYour book of collected stories say a lot of things. Let's bring back slavery and stoning to death for offenses like adultery. And all that stuff about not judging people and loving your neighbor as yourself, go ahead and keep ignoring those parts. If today was Monday, I would swear this article was a joke.

ReplyMarijuana is a plant that grows in the ground. Prescription pain pills are made of who-knows-what in a laboratory. You ever hear of someone overdosing on marijuana? No.
And before someone starts the "drugs affect everyone differently" rant, so does caffeine, but that's never been metered or outlawed.
The only real argument I have heard against legalization has been: What do we do with all the people who are or were affected by the criminalization of marijuana? Do you just open the jails and let them out?
That's the real reason we'll never see a complete, nation-wide legalization, even if it would rescue the economy from the toilet. -

Why is it when the comic is making fun of Romney, people jump all over it? Then when it's making fun of Obama, the SAME people jump all over it? It's a political cartoon. Laugh and move on.
If you want to know the REAL "problem with America" it's people wasting their time on message boards and not actually DOING anything to make a difference. Attack me if you want, cause I'm not going to be back every five minutes with another witty retort
I'm taking my kids to the pumpkin patch. That seems a better use of my time.

Then realize that the way people interpret the things they read depends on many factors. I believe our points of view are fundamentally different. I will continue down the "not judging people and loving your neighbor as yourself" path, and you will obviously keep dismissing people like Toni and I who question your point of view.
