About Dan

I quit my job at UPS in January of 2010 to work for the National Institute for Community, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization who's mission is to help build quality relationships where people live and work through the power of genuine community,  in Romeoville to help with the Community Life Program (www.communitylife.info). I fell in love with my job and Romeoville pretty much immediately and want to continue being a part of this community for years to come.

My passions are helping people, caring for people, and connecting people to whatever it is they are interested in. I also dabble in a few other things: fixing cars, cloth diapering, bicycling, camping, gardening, sand volleyball and just chilling on my porch sometimes.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Lindsey, and our first child was born on Jan. 5, 2011 — he's amazing!

Hi Dan,

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved
with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.

If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Here is the link for the film:
