Hello Mr. Koppel,
To make a long story short, my son was aboard Carnival Cruise Line, employed as 1 of the 4 Entertainment Staff member aboard the Imagination. Four months into his 6 month contract, he was terminated and is upset about what transpired during that conversation with the Cruise Director. He has many other grievances regarding the working conditions but cannot file a complaint through the US Federal Department of Labor as the ship is registered in Panama.
I did a little researched on this company and came across this particularly disturbing article:
http://www.cruiselawnews.com/2011/02/articles/taxes/no-taxes-the-cruise-lines-dirty-little-secret/
Is there anything you can help with or anywhere you can direct him to, to have his concerns address?
I realize you are a very busy person and truly thank you for any reply in advance.
Always, with the kindest of regards,
Miya Takeuchi.
