The Romeoville Police Department took reports on the following property crimes: Two bicycles valued at a total of $300 reported stolen from the driveway of a residence in the 1000 block of Redondo at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Two storm sewer grates valued at a total of $640 reported stolen from the 0 to 100 block of Honeybear at 4:35 p.m. Sept. 4. Two tractor trucks valued at $80,000 and $50,000, respectively, were stolen from a business in the 1200 block of Enterprise Drive, police said. All four tires of a vehicle parked in the lot at a business in the 400 block of North Weber Road were slashed and paint on the door was damaged, police said. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $700. A thief stole two GPS units and car chargers valued at $640 from a vehicle parked in the o-100 block of Rockledge Drive, police said. Efren Romero Reyes, 45, 345 Emery, Romeoville, was arrested by Joliet police and charged with burglary and knowingly damaging property, according to Will County reports. His bail was set at $7,500. Someone broke the window of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Arnold and stole a GPS, according to police. The estimated cost to repair the window and replace the GPS is $875. Someone shattered the window of a home in the 1600 block of Fiddyment, police said. The cost to repair the damage is estimated at $250. Someone stole credit cards from a purse left inside a vehicle parked at a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview, police said. The vehicle owner left the purse in the vehicle when she went inside the business, according to reports. When she returned, she noticed credit cards were missing from her purse.
