Man Accused in Rape and Home Invasion
Alejandro Reveles-Cordova of Berwyn is charged with sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend after forcing his way into her Romeoville home.
U.S. marshals arrested a Berwyn man Nov. 27, a week after he sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend at her Romeoville home, police said. Alejandro Reveles-Cordova, 31, of the 1900 block of Elmwood, faces charges of home invasion, criminal sexual assault, residential burglary, aggravated domestic battery, unlawful restraint and violation of a court order of protection. A 30-year-old Romeoville woman told police Reveles-Cordova forced his way into her home and threatened to kill her the evening of Nov. 20. He then held her down and sexually assaulted her, police said. Reveles-Cordova fled the scene in a vehicle later found at his residence, according to police, but he was not home when Berwyn police executed a search warrant. The U.S. …
