Property Crimes: iPad Mini, Bikes, xBox, TV, Tools Reported Stolen
Property damage reports include vandalized vehicles and broken windows and doors, police say.
The following property crime reports were taken by the Romeoville Police Department: Several Christmas decorations in the rear year of a home in the 600 block of Jordan were damaged by a sharp object. Damage estimated at $30; report filed at about 9:20 p.m. Nov. 30. A sharp object was used in an attempted burglary of a pickup truck parked in the driveway of a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Ambassador. A vehicle alarm caused the burglar or burglars to flee. No damage cited; report made at about 11 p.m. Dec. 2. A spare key and loose change was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1600 block of Fiddyment Drive.
