The British newspapers were having a field day Thursday with news that actress Janina Gavankar may be his new squeeze.
Joliet native Janina Gavankar has had her share of success in Hollywood, most notably juicy roles in the TV series True Blood and The L Word. But her star may be headed to the gossip stratosphere if the salivating British tabloids are correct and she's dating Simon Cowell, of X Factor and American Idol fame. Cowell may be a star here, but he's a superstar in his native Great Britain, and when he's seen escorting a potential new love interest around town, it becomes front page news. "It may not be true love but it is True Blood for Simon Cowell," reports The Sun.
