Property Crimes: Car Stolen, Homes Burglarized, Decorations Vandalized

Among the items reported taken were steel grates, jewelry, cameras, laptops and credit cards.

The following property crime reports were taken by the Romeoville Police Department: An unknown object was used to break eight outdoor overhead lights and a glass block window of a concessions stand in the 1100 block of Murphy Drive owned by the Romeoville Recreation Department. Report made at about 8 a.m. Dec. 11; damage estimated at $700. Several items were taken from a business in the 400 block of North Weber Road in an incident of retail theft. Report made at about 1 p.m. Dec. 12; loss estimated at $175. A lock hasp was broken and nine forklift propane cylinders taken from an outdoor locked storage rack of a busines in the 900 block of West Crossroads Parkway. located in the business parking area.
