Missing mother Linda Fellenbaum—who is wanted on an arrest warrant—was tossed out of her Hinsdale apartment a month and a half before she vanished. Her toddler son remains missing as well.
Just a month and a half before she supposedly ran barefoot into the Joliet night, never to be seen again, DuPage County Sheriff's deputies served an eviction order at missing mom Linda Fellenbaum's Hinsdale apartment. Fellenbaum's possessions were carried from the apartment on Sept. 5 and left outside. By then, according to police, Fellenbaum, 33, was living with her new boyfriend, Donald Wolak, in his house on Joliet's west side. According to the report, she did not return to collect her things. Wolak and Fellenbaum's relationship started after they met online in late August, police said, but the affair had apparently soured by Oct. 16. That was when Wolak, 40, told police Fellenbaum stole a "large sum of cash" and one of his handguns. …

Romeoville police say Lewis University student Jamie Olson took steps to conceal her involvement in the suspected heroin death of her friend.
A 20-year-old Frankfort woman died of a drug overdose while at a Lewis University dorm this weekend, and the friend with whom she was staying has been arrested for trying to conceal her role in the death, Romeoville police said Monday. Anna Marinier was found dead at Fitzpatrick Hall at about 11:10 a.m. Sunday, Romeoville Assistant Police Chief Steve Lucchesi said. Although toxicology tests are still pending, it's suspected she overdosed on heroin, he said. Her friend, Jamie Olson, 21, of 9125 Letterkenny, Tinley Park, was arrested Sunday night on a felony charge of obstruction of justice and booked into the Will County jail. Investigators for the Syfy Channel show captured voices and film, the latter being called "holy grail" for ghost hunters.
If the "ghost meters" in the room were any measure, the spirits that haunt the Rialto Square Theatre liked the Ghost Hunters investigation of their digs almost as much as the humans watching their show did. The devices were lit for almost the entire duration of the Syfy Channel program, which the Rialto's Technical Director Lori Carmine and Events Coordinator Trish Stoner watched on a tiny TV in the cozy confines of the theater's dressing room surrounded by folks who were in the middle of a paranormal tour of the old vaudeville/movie house. The school district is to investigate girls varsity coach -- and Lewis University grad -- Bryan Craig who wrote a relationship book titled "It's Her Fault," encouraging women to perform oral sex and take on multiple sex partners.

Judge Joseph Polito says he watched porn on his courthouse computer before and after court sessions, even though he knew it violated county rules, published report says.
Will County Judge Joseph Polito says he watched pornography via his courthouse computer during work hours, and is now seeking help to stop his behavior, a story in the Chicago Sun-Times says. Polito made the confession in documents he filed with the Illinois Courts Commission in the wake of a Sun-Times report four months ago that his computer had been used repeatedly to view porn sites. Charges have been filed against him by the Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board. Polito admitted viewing pornography before and after court calls, and even though he was aware there was a county policy against viewing such materials on county computers, the story said.
