Under the agreement, District 202 will repay Edward’s 2008 property taxes by …

Board Approves Car Wash Project, Ambulance Purchase

The village also inked a deal that will allow ambulances to transport patients to Edward Hospital in Naperville.

Customers will soon be able to get a $3 car wash any time of the day or night at Romeoville businesses. Trustees signed off on a special use permit to allow Laserwash, located at Phelps and Route 53, to add a 24-hour, $3 car wash lane. By adding brand-new equipment to the southern wash lane, Laserwash will be able to offer $3 washes in the north lane, Community Development Director Steve Rockwell said Wednesday. Owner Bill Klump also plans to offer free vacuuming and will install a brand-new vacuum system enclosed by PVC fencing. The board also agreed to allow Klump to replace the existing pole sign with a monument LED message board sign.
