DUI, other charges Terry Tuma, 63, of the 500 block of Smith Road, Lisle, was arrested by Romeoville police at 1:28 a.m. at Weber Road and Grand Haven and charged with improper lane use, DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol. Criminal damage to property The owners of a vacant residence in the 300 block of Macon reported someone entered the home and used spray paint to damage the drywall in the residence. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $100. Tuesday, May 22 Criminal damage Someone slashed tires on six vehicles parked in public parking areas in the 100 and 200 blocks of Highpoint Drive. The total cost of the damage is estimated at $2,375. Friday, May 25 Retail theft Sandra Piazza, 47, and Douglas Buhmann, 23, both of the 2300 block of Webb St., Crest Hill, were arrested by Romeoville police at 10:48 a.m. in the 400 block of Weber Road and charged with retail theft.
