2 Men Shot in Brunswick Zone Attack

Romeoville police say the incident may be gang-related but they do not know if the victims, one from Joliet and the other from Lockport, were targeted.

Two men were shot as they left Brunswick Zone XL in Romeoville Tuesday in an attack that's being investigated as possibly gang-connected, Romeoville Assistant Police Chief Steve Lucchesi said. The incident occurred at about 12:50 a.m. as the 735 N. Center Blvd. business, which is a combination bowling alley, laser tag, arcade and restaurant, was closing for the night, Lucchesi said. As many as 30 people were in the parking lot when a dark-colored, 4-door car pulled up and fired shots that struck an 18-year-old man from Joliet and a 26-year-old man from Lockport before speeding away, he said. Romeoville Chamber: Pitch Your Business June 12

Membership luncheon at Brunswick Zone XL will feature a ballpark theme

The Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce will provide an opportunity to “Pitch Your Business” at its membership luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Brunswick Zone XL, 735 N. Center Blvd., Romeoville. Although the luncheon will take on a baseball theme, participants don’t have to show up wearing  uniforms and spikes.  Chamber members will have 45 seconds to “pitch” their businesses – whether by  traditional means or by using visual aids in a creative, light-hearted manner.
