Residents From Plainfield, Joliet Arrested after Black Friday Brawl: Police

Shoppers disrupted by melee; alleged combatants charged with mob action.

Black Friday shopping got a bit dicey in the wee hours of the morning, Nov. 23 at Louis Joliet Mall, according to police. Officers from the Joliet Police Department were called to break up a brawl that allegedly started at Panera Bread and spilled out into the mall. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, it all started as a quarrel between four girls, and then their boyfriends entered the fray. Read the full article here.
