Since 1996, the Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation has awarded nearly $1 million in grants to fundMore educational opportunities for students in the Valley View School District. Each year, the foundation reviews grant applications submitted by parents, teachers, administrators and community groups requesting support for programs above and beyond those funded by the district. Grant requests are reviewed by foundation members and district administrators and must be approved by the board of education. Grant programs are supported by fundraisers, including an annual spring dinner, golf outing and a spelling bee.

Valley View School District 365-U serves nearly 18,000 students from Romeoville, Bolingbrook and  portions ofMore Plainfield, Lockport and Downers Grove. It has 20 campuses, including an early learning center and two high schools, in Bolingbrook and Romeoville. The area's explosive growth has created a diverse student population in the district, where more than 20 different languages are spoken.</p> <p>In addition to its regular education programs, Valley View offers interventions for preschool students with special needs, as well as an alternative middle school and high school program at its Phoenix Experience campus in Bolingbrook.</p>
