Thomas Morphey is Drew Peterson's stepbrother. His widower father married Peterson's widow mother. Morphey said he helped Peterson carry a blue barrel containing the slain body of Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, from the Petersons' bedroom to a sport utility vehicle parked in the driveway. Morphey also said Peterson earlier approached him with plans to help cover up Stacy's murder. Morphey said he and the rest of his family were suspicious of Peterson following the death of Peterson's previous wife, Kathleen Savio. Morphey said he once told Peterson, "We always figured you killed Kathleen."
