Good Shepherd Preschool is a wonderful faith and family oriented environment! Miss Marilyn and Miss Judith always greet the kids with a warm, welcoming smile. The home visits they do prior to school starting made my daughter (and truthfully my husband and I as well) more comfortable with starting school for the first time. I just can't say enough about Miss Marilyn, Miss Judith and Good Shepherd Preschool!! We fell in love after visiting for the open house last year. Throughout the year they have continued to exceed our expectations! My daughter truly enjoys going to school to here and can not wait to go three days a week next year. I would highly recommend Good Shepherd Preschool to anyone!!

Miss Marilyn and Miss Judith are the best! They offer a caring and nurturing environment for the children to learn. My 4 year old loves going to school and my 6 year old likes going back to see her former teachers. I highly recommend this program for anyone looking for a preschool

I have had 3 of my children at attend this preschool. Two are currently enrolled and will have one more attend next year. Very good program, my kids love going to preschool. And the fifth grader likes to visit and see his old teachers. It is a wonderful learning environment and the kids learn about faith as well. We are not members of the church, we are catholic, but the lessons they learn are a good foundation for young christians of any religion. This is a great place for kids to start learning to love learning!

Good Shepherd is definitely the Best preschool in Romeoville! Ms. Marilyn & Ms. Judith are not only wonderful teachers but they are loving and caring to each and every student that walks through the door. Even though my 2 girls are in elementary school now, we make sure to visit every opportunity that we get because the girls miss their preschool teachers so much! I loved that my kids had hands on learning experience as well having the faith-based lessons. I feel that the lessons they learned there set them on a course to be in the top of their class in elementary school. I couldn't imagine sending my kids to any other

We are in love with Good Shepherd! When my (now) first grade son was four, we went there for a walk-through, to meet Ms. Marilyn and check the place out. I think it took all of a minute for me to be sold. They truly care for and know my children (I now have a four-year-old there and an almost-three year old who is dying to go!) and allow tons of hands-on learning/exploration. The faith-based lessons reinforce what we are trying to teach our sons at home. Also, it's just plain fun. :) It's an incredibly safe, nurturing, and affordable preschool experience that we highly recommend!

We love Good Shepherd preschool!!! My son went to this preschool and now he is in the 6th grade. He still always feels special when he sees Ms Marilyn because she remembers him fondly and she will share stories with him- that's how much each of the children mean to her. He had his first experience away from home there and, although he would sometimes cry when I dropped him off, once it came time to go home he never wanted to leave! The creativity he still exhibits to this day began in this amazing environment and I always felt confident leaving him behind locked doors to play and learn! I drove him all the way from 30 minutes away just to attend this wonderful preschool. We will always remember our time there fondly!

I cannot recommend this preschool highly enough! If you have young children, you should definitely check them out. The staff is wonderful. The hands-on learning techniques they use are very effective with the kids--much better than the endless worksheets some places use. (Let's face it, they'll have their whole lives to fill out paperwork.) The teachers are great at guiding the kids in their learning, while allowing them freedom to explore and discover on their own.

My daughter and son, now in 3rd and 1st grades, both attended Good Shepherd Preschool. They are both at the top of their class in reading and math, and their standardized test scores are above school and district averages.

On top of all that, I love the faith element to the program. The kids learn that God loves them, the true meanings of Christmas and Easter, and many Bible stories and lessons. Though it's a ministry of a Lutheran church, the preschool isn't "Lutheran," but Christian, and it truly welcomes all.

Top Notch care and security! I have no problem entrusting my precious little ones to Ms. Judith or Ms. Marilyn. They play outside and inside in a very secure environment. There are no random adults strolling through a large adminstration building like two other preschools in Romeoville.
