Food is really good here. When we first moved to the neighborhood I had tried Mr. Taco and then eventually found Mi Tierra across the street. IMO the food and service are much better all around. I've always done takeout, but they have a decent-sized dining area as well.

The food here is just like visiting 18th and Ashland in the Pilsen neighborhood. You have to try the Chile Rellenos and Chicken Mole Enchiladas. Best Mexican food around.

Mi Tierra serves truly delicious and authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere is friendly and mostly casual with a very large variety of dishes available. South of the border music helps to make my eating more pleasant. The posole and beef soup are outstanding. Servings are large and prices are very reasonable. Mi Tierra is my most favorite in Romeoville.
