Tree Lighting: Fat Ricky's Teaming with Romeoville Rec Department in a Winter Wonderland Spectacular

Sound interesting? Well, then you should start making your plans now for the annual Winter Wonderland Tree Lighting Ceremony and Parade of Lights in Romeoville. The event runs from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road.

The Romeoville Recreation Department is teaming up with Fat Ricky’s to deliver a menu with something for everyone, including a free pasta meal to the first 500 attendees. There also will be a book fair, children’s entertainment, carolers, inflatables, crafts, pictures with Santa and—new this year—heated trolley rides.

Admission is one non-perishable food item per attendee. All donations will go toward Hope for the Holidays care packages.
