Gina Linko, a woman born in Joliet and who later earned a graduate degree in creative writing from DePaul University, will be a special guest at the Romeoville Branch of the White Oak Library District from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 27).
The occasion? A launch party for Linko’s latest book: Indigo.
The book has received rave reviews on Goodreads.com and is described like this on the website:
“A gift? A curse? A moment that changes everything … Caught in an unexpected spring squall, Corrine’s first instinct is to protect her little sister Sophie after a nasty fall. But when Corrine reaches to to comfort her sister, the exact opposite occurs.”
For more information, contact Cindy Shutts by phone (815) 886-2030 or email: email@example.com. The library is located at 201 W. Normantown Road, Romeoville. Linko’s launch party will be in Meeting Room A on the main level of the building. Refreshments will be served. And Linko will be signing copies of her book, which also will be available for purchase.Headlines: Our Newsletter Overfloweth
