Oktoberfest Celebration to Support Alzheimer's Association & Toys for Tots

Here is your chance to earning a shining star.

Support Senior Star at Weber Place as it hosts an Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, Oct. 19. The festival—which runs from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at 605 S. Edward Drive, Romeoville—will help support the Alzheimer's Association and Toys for Tots.

The fest will feature German beer, snacks and the music of Frank Rossi. Also, there will be a silent auction and raffle for a chance to win two Bears tickets. The event is open to the public. Attendees are asked to bring a toy or cash donation for their holiday philanthropic program.

"Giving back to the community is so important to the Senior Star philosophy," said Michelle Franzak, executive director of Senior Star at Weber Place, in a news release announcing the event.
