Meet Bailey

Hi! My name is Bailey. I’m probably about 1 to 2 years old, weigh about 45 pounds and I’m a beautiful chocolate Labrador mix.

I was a stray in southern Illinois until I was picked up by the sheriff and put in an outdoor cage. I did have food and water but the living conditions were less than desirable, especially in 90 degree days.

I was picked up by the humane society and they told me I'd never have to sleep outside again. I am having so much fun.

I get along with other dogs and my butt never stops wiggling. I am just happy to be alive and safe. I love being petted and will kind of lean into you to show you how much I'm enjoying it. If you meet me, you will love me.

The Romeoville Humane Society is a volunteer-run animal rescue. Before they are adopted, pets are spayed or neutered and receive all shots and a microchip identification implant.
