Final Sign-up for Romeoville Youth Tackle Football is June 20

Although summer has yet to officially begin, it's time to think about youth football season in Romeoville.

Final open registration for the Romeoville Youth Football tackle football program is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the press box at Romeoville Recreation Center’s Village Park, 900 W. Romeo Road.

Participants will be placed on rosters on a first-come, first-served basis.

The following levels have a limited number of open spots on their rosters as of June 5:

Superlight Tackle Football

• Ages 6-7-8, bare weight up to 77 pounds
• Striper, ages 6-7-8, bare weight up to 82 pounds
• Double Striper, ages 6-7, unlimited weight
• Age 9,  bare weight up to 55 pounds

Varsity Tackle Football

• Ages 12-13-14, bare weight up to 156 pounds
• Striper, bare weight up to 189 pounds
• Double Striper, bare weight up to 225 pounds

New Participants must bring the following to registration:

• Copy of official birth certificate (RYFC will keep on file for proof of age - tackle football only)
• Copy of Final 2011-12 Report Card
• RYFC Participant Registration Form
  
• RYFC Waiver
• River Valley Waiver
