Caribbean Show Band will “Rock the Ville” Thursday Night

Free concert is from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Deer Crossing Park

The Village of Romeoville’s Parks and Recreation Department will host “Rockin’ the Ville,” a lively concert-in-the park featuring the Caribbean show band, “Tropixplosion.” The concert is from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at , 1050 W. Romeo Road.

The free, all-ages show will feature toe-tapping percussion and steel drums, terrific vocals, “Blue-Man” style performance pieces and tons of high-energy fun – the ultimate island party.

Tropixplosion plays an amazing variety of music, including tropical favorites, reggae classics and pop/rock party and classic-rock songs that have been rearranged with an island feel.
