Bears vs. Packers Not The Only Rivalry in Town: Contest Invites Fans to Face Off

It’s a matchup 90 years in the making.

On Sunday, the Chicago Bears will take on the Green Bay Packers in an NFC title game at Soldier Field, capping off a rivalry that began in 1921 when the Bears, then known as the Chicago Staleys, defeated the Packers 20-0 at Cubs Park.

Nearly a century later, the gridiron enemies have faced off in 181 regular-season games, according to Chicagobears.com, but only one other playoff contest.

Now, as the two teams prepare to battle it out in a playoff game for the first time since 1941, we at Patch have cooked up a rivalry of our own.
