Bands from all five Valley View School District 365U middle schools will be featured at the annual VVSD Band Festival Saturday, March 29, at Brooks Middle School in Bolingbrook.
The host school’s Concert Band will open the Fest with a performance at 8:45 a.m. followed by the Jane Addams Middle School Symphonic Band at 9:30 a.m., the Brooks Symphonic Band at 10:15 a.m. and the Jane Addams Concert Band at 11 a.m.
After a break for lunch, the A. Vito Martinez Band will perform at 12:15 p.m. followed by the Humphrey Middle School Band at 1 p.m. and the Lukancic Middle School Band at 1:45 p.m.

John Mose from the College of Lake County will conduct a 10-15 minute clinic on the finer elements of performing in an ensemble for each band.
The general public is welcome to attend. Programs will be available for a $2 donation to help offset the printing cost.

The VVSD Middle School Band Festival is designed to offer ensembles the opportunity to perform in a non-competitive environment with a goal of raising student performance standards and improving their technical proficiency while fostering intellectual and personal growth.
