Parent Mikey Lo stopped by daughter Carmela's classroom as an unconventional career day guest on Tuesday at R.C. Hill Elementary in Romeoville.
Lo, who works at Skin Gallery Tattoo & Body Piercings in Downers Grove, visited the school with wife Trina and son Lennie. He spent more than an hour talking to students, giving them sketches of zombie and flower tattoos for them to color in on their own.
He finished by showing the kids the completed tattoos based on the sketches and explaining how to blend colors together. Lo sent students home with a goodie bag of temporary tattoos and stickers, along with a custom print of one of his paintings.
