Survey: Two-Thirds of RHS Grads Will Move on to College

A poll of the Class of 2011 showed that most are already making plans for the future, whether it's college or the working world.

Two-thirds of graduating seniors plan to go on to either a two- or four-year college, according to a student survey released over the weekend.

Each year, RHS guidance counselors conduct a survey asking soon-to-be graduates about their future plans.

College picks for the most recent crop of RHS graduates include the American Academy of Art, Bradley, Columbia College, Concordia University, Hofstra University, the Illinois Institute of Art, Iowa State, Illinois State, Joliet Junior College, Lewis University, Lincoln College, the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Northern Illinois University, North Central College, Ohio State, Southern Illinois University, University of St. Francis, St. Xavier University, University of Illinois, University of Arkansas, the University of Iowa, the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Other graduates said they planned to attend cosmetology school, the Illinois Institute of Technology and the Universal Technical Institute.
