Spartan Scholars Excel On and Off the Field

Romeoville Youth Football and Cheerleading group honors participants for scholastics.

More than 40 participants in Romeoville Youth Football and Cheerleading (RYFC) were recognized as Spartan Scholars during an awards ceremony Nov. 5 at .

According to Kerri Moon, RYFC scholastics director, participating students in fifth- through eighth-grades who had a GPA of 96 percent or higher from the previous school year were eligible for the program.

Spartan Scholars recognized at the awards ceremony received a T-shirt, certificate, and donated gifts from DuPage Township and . The top 11 scholars received gifts from , , , , , Romeoville Recreation Center and RYFC.
