Romeoville High School Staffer Named Assistant Principal

Nicole Egizio succeeds Yolanda Jordan, who is the new Bolingbrook High School principal.

Romeoville High School Student Services Administrator Nicole Egizio has been named assistant principal of student services for RHS effective immediately, Valley View announced Monday.

She succeeds Yolanda Jordan, who is now the Principal at Bolingbrook High School.

Egizio has been with Valley View School District 365U since 2007, serving for two years as student resource team leader at RHS and four years as special education department chair before becoming the student services administrator last year.

A graduate of Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in special education and elementary education, she holds two master’s degrees, one in educational leadership and administration from American College of Education and one in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University.

Prior to coming to VVSD, Egizio taught for six years in first and second grade learning disability self-contained and second and third grade primary cross-categorical classrooms, and served as a resource teacher for K-6 children at Willow Bend Elementary School in Palatine.
