Register on Time, Avoid a Fine

Valley View School District reminds parents that a 20 percent late fee applies for student fees not paid by the Aug. 16 registration deadline.

With August “Back To School Days” fast approaching, Valley View School District 365U officials are reminding parents and guardians that currently enrolled students who are not registered by Aug. 16 will be subject to a late fee.

New students who enroll after Aug 16 will be asked to pay their fees 30 days after the first attendance day, or set up a deferred payment plan to avoid late fees, thanks to a .

The district is reminding parents that student fees are due at the time of registration, which must be completed by Aug. 16. Parents who aren’t paid up by that date will incur a 20 percent late fee.

Student fees, including books and registration costs, vary by grade level. The amounts, which remain at the 2010-11 level, are as follows:

  • Early childhood and kindergarten: $40
  • Grades 1-5: $50
  • Grades 6-8: $100
  • Grades 9-12: $150

Additional fees may apply for athletics and extracurricular activities. Fees may be paid with cash, check or money order, or Visa, Mastercard or Discover debit or credit card.
