Orange Juice: Spartans' Pep Band Thrills at United Center

Trip to Chicago for holiday basketball event is special for members of the Romeoville Pep Band, too.

Bright Lights. Big Stage.

Members of the Romeoville High School boys basketball team weren't the only ones basking in the glow of a chance to the play at the United Center.

The Spartans' pep band—directed by Clark Anderson—made the trip to Chicago, too, for Romeoville's Dec. 21 matchup vs. Southwest Prairie Conference rival Plainfield Central, according to a Valley View School District news release.

And, word is, members of the band hit all the high notes, even as the Spartans came up just a little short on the court. Plainfield Central notched a 65-55 victory, according to MaxPreps.com. The Spartans next play Jan. 7 at Joliet West.
