Lewis' We Believe Campaign Wins National Award

The school received the Silver Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District V.

The We Believe! campaign at Lewis University was recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District V as the Silver Award recipient of the Pride of CASE V Best Program in Annual Giving.

Lewis University is now in the top 20 percent of faculty and staff giving participation among colleges and universities across the nation. The Pride of CASE V Awards Program honors institutions and individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievement in the concept and execution of advancement programs and communications.

We Believe! campaign is a faculty and staff campaign to raise funds for the university. The 2012 campaign increased faculty and staff contributions by more than 20 percent from the previous year, from 44 percent to 69 percent. In the fiscal year of 2011-2012, 444 faculty and staff donated to Lewis University.

“The faculty and staff participation is a powerful statement of their support of and belief in our Mission. I know that they share many gifts with Lewis and our students every day, and that is why their additional support is especially inspiring,” said Len Bertolini, Vice President for University Advancement.

“The We Believe! campaign was truly a collaborative effort between many members of our department, faculty and staff across the campus, and members of the university’s Marketing and Communications department.”
