Lewis Recognized as College of Distinction

In addition to being recognized by The Princeton Review and U.S. News and World Report, has recently received another national recognition for the second year as a “College of Distinction.” Chosen for “providing students with the highest level of undergraduate education and for demonstrating its commitment to engagement, teaching, community and outcomes,” Lewis is again featured in the online publication Colleges of Distinction.

"This significant honor reflects our commitment as a university to excellence and continuous improvement, which leads to student success,” commented Dr. Stephany Schlachter, provost at Lewis University.

The goal of Colleges of Distinction is to help students, their families and their counselors choose colleges and universities that are right for them. Colleges of Distinction strives to help students find a college where they can grow, learn and ultimately succeed for the rest of their lives. The online college guide describes schools that take a complete approach to admissions decisions, that consistently excel in providing undergraduate education and that have a national reputation.
