Lakomiak Named Valley View's New Director of Print Shop Operations

Valley View School District 365U Printing Services Manager Keith Lakomiak has been named Director of VVSD Print Shop Operations effective July 1. He succeeds Dan Strodtman who is retiring after 33 years with the school district.

Lakomiak came to Valley View more than 13 years ago with nearly a decade of experience in printing, copying and direct mail operations. He served as Head Printing Estimator for Graphics Products Inc. in West Chicago, served as Printing Supervisor for Everen Securites Inc. in Chicago, and was a Team Leader for packaging operations for Solar Communications in Naperville.

A former Seabee in the Naval Reserves, he holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science with an emphasis on management and supervision from Joliet Junior College.

He is a member of the In-Plant Publishing Managers Association and is a job mentor for the VVSD STEP program.
