When students walked through the door of the J building of Joliet Junior College, they used to be greated by the college bookstore. That bookstore is now located in the newly-constructed A building and the former bookstore is a new art gallery. The Laura A. Sprague Art Gallery opened its doors on Monday with the first exhibit in the space. The Now and Then exhibit showcases art from JJC alumni, with one piece from when they were students and one from their art lives now.
The exhibit opened at 8 a.m. Sept. 17 and will remain open to the public 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., until Oct. 19.
