WRAP (Wellnes Recovery Action Plan) for those who suffer from mental illness

Joliet, IL --  NAMI Will County will offer the program WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan), free of charge for people who suffer from mental illness who would like the tools to help in the Recovery process.  People who experience psychiatric symptoms no longer feel that they are sentenced to a life of chronic illness that interferes with their ability to work toward and reach their goals. Instead, by using self-help skills and strategies that complement other treatment scenarios, they are achieving levels of wellness, stability and recovery they always hoped were possible. This recovery program, developed by Mary Ellen Copeland and is now offered across the country.

The WRAP (wellness recovery action plan) Program will be offered for 5 Wednesdays starting on October 19 and run through November 16.  The class will be held at the NAMI Will County office, 417 Taylor Street, Upstairs, Joliet, IL.  To register for this free program please call 815-731-9103 or info@namiwillcounty.org.
