Southwest Prairie Conference Band Festival Performs February 15

A performance by the Southwest Prairie Conference Band Festival will be held at Romeoville High school.

Guest conductors include Erica Neidlinger, Director of Bands at DePaul University in Chicago, and Charles Staley, Fine Arts Chair at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville.

About 170 students from eight schools -- Minooka High School, Plainfield East High School, Oswego East High School, Oswego High School, Plainfield Central High School, Plainfield South High School, Plainfield North High School, and Romeoville High school -- will rehearse throughout the day on Feb. 15 and then perform that evening.

Students were nominated by their band directors.
