RHS Freshman Orientation Night

Romeoville High School is preparing to welcome the Class of 2016 with middle school orientations followed by Incoming Freshman Orientation Night on Jan. 11.

Parents and students alike are invited to Orientation Night which is designed to help families transition to high school. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with an opportunity for everyone to learn about classroom electives, clubs, sports and other co-curricular activities through table displays in the field house.

At 7 p.m. in the auditorium, school officials will detail the high school curriculum and the registration process which will take place the week of Jan. 16. Guidance counselors will be on hand, as will department chairs. School tours will also be conducted.

Students will receive registration packets on Jan. 9 (Martinez Middle School) and Jan. 10 (Lukancic Middle School) when high school counselors and Assistant Principal Gina Smith conduct orientation programs at both middle schools. Students must bring those packets to Freshman Orientation Night at the high school.
