Making Beeswax Candles at Lockport
As our "A Midsummer Knight's Read" themed Adult Summer Reading Program draws to an end, join us as we make rolled Beeswax Candles! Candles made of tallow or beeswax were used as a source of light in the Middle Ages. These candles were expensive, so people rarely used them unless they were wealthy. All materials will be provided. Limit = 20. Please register with adult services, Lockport Branch Library, 815-838-0755. This event will be held in the Community Room.
