How Can We Close the Achievement Gap?

FREE.  Light refreshments will be served.  The forum is to assist our community in resolving Academic Achievement as a hot-button issue of mutual concern respectfully and non-confrontationally.  During the forum, participants weigh in on 3 approaches to tackling the gap in academic achievement; realize what are the advantages, costs, consequences, trade-off of each approach; develop a common understanding of what is at issue; and recognize complimentary individual and collective action that can be taken.   If you were inspired by the movie "Waiting for Superman" you should come be part of a group taking action in our community!
