Anti-Bullying Expert to Speak at Lukancic

Nationally-recognized Dr. Jay Banks and his high energy STAMP Out Bullying Program is coming to on Thursday, March 22.

Community members are invited to hear his anti-bullying message, delivered through a mix of music and slap-stick humor, at a 7 p.m. gathering at the Romeoville school.

Earlier in the day, students and staff will participate in Banks’ program, which  is designed to educate and equip each student with a five-point strategy:

Stay away from bullies

• Tell someone
• Avoid bad situations
• Make friends
• Project confidence 

Banks, who holds a PhD in education and a masters in curriculum and instructional technology, has appeared on Nickelodeon, Hallmark Channel, Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS.   He has also written for Disney Productions.  Dr. Banks has been presenting to audiences for 30 years throughout 44 states.
