Bolingbrook Mayor Endorses Candidates for Valley View School Board

Bolingbrook Mayor Roger Claar announces his picks for the Valley View School District 365U school board election.

In a letter to residents, Bolingbrook Mayor Roger Claar declared his picks for the DuPage Township and Valley View School District 365Uschool board elections. 

"Typically these April elections have less than 15% of the people voting out of our population of 74,000," Claar wrote. "(With the low voter numbers your vote will truly make a difference.)"

For Valley View, Claar endorsed Deborah Sykora and Daniel Falese. 

"They have a long history of commitment to the children of our community," Claar wrote.

He also gave his support to incumbentsChrystal Hansen and Ronnie Bull. He did not endorse incumbent Elizabeth Campbell. 

"Chrystal L. Hansen and Ronald (Ronnie) Bull deserve re-election," Claar wrote.

"Both have done an excellent job and have pledged to continue improving our schools and showing where your property tax dollars are going. They will all encourage the District’s Administrative staff to be more visible and to explain where your tax dollars go. There are four seats open and eight candidates running.

These are the only four I give my full backing to for this election."
