American Legion Thanks Students for Veterans Breakfast
In November, Skoff elementary hosted a free event to honor local vets.
, students at paid tribute to local veterans, offering up a free breakfast of pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee — not to mention a rousing musical performance.
Last week, Romeoville American Legion Post 52 acknowledged the efforts of students and staff by presenting Principal Laura Noon with a thank-you plaque.
American Legion members made the presentation during a back-to-school assembly on Monday, April 16, as students returned from spring break.
