Reaction from Romeoville Mayor John Noak came quickly to news that Romeoville has earned "Storm Ready" distinction from the National Weather Service.

"It is an honor to have the National Weather Service in our community and we are grateful to have the Storm Ready distinction bestowed on our Village by such an important organization," Noak said in an e-News alert issued Monday.
