Date Draws Near for Romeoville High School Winter Concert

No, there will not be eight maids a milking.
There will be eight performing ensembles at Romeoville High School’s Winter Music Concert, according to a Valley View School District news release. The concert begins at 6 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 14) in the David F. Carlson Auditorium. Admission is free.
The eight ensembles will perform under the direction of Romeoville’s Clark Anderson, Allison Thune, Adam Hill and Eastern Illinois University student teacher Matt Dennison.

HERMANSEN CRAFT FAIR: Hermansen Elementary School’s 8th Annual Holiday Craft Fair, Bake Sale and Santa Shop is Saturday (Dec. 14). The holiday extravaganza runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Among the vendors at the fair will be Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Arbonne, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Tupperware, Scentsy, Thirty-One Gifts, Avon, Origami Owl, Wild Tree and Vault Jeans, according to a Valley View School District news release.

Donations for the bake sale are welcome. Baked goods should be dropped off in the school office on Friday or on Saturday morning.
