Weber Reduced to One Lane for Construction Work
The new traffic pattern affects drivers going both directions and will stay in effect until the construction is completed, Romeoville officials say.
Roadway construction continues along Weber Road, and after the July 4 holiday, the traffic patterns between Gaskin and Airport drives will be changing, according to a media release from the .
This new traffic stage will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction, a configuration that will remain until the east half of the improvement is completed. This will allow for roadway widening, new traffic signals, new curb and gutter as well as new drainage facilities and utility relocations.
The anticipated completion for the entire project is November 2013.
